Xu Zhaohuo, Vice Chairman of the Group, delivered the opening speech for this conference. All colleagues from SAN JIAOZHOU, on this occasion of bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, on behalf of the SAN JIAOZHOU Board of Directors, I extend warm congratulations and heartfelt thanks to all of you for the tremendous achievements you have made in the past year! I also wish us to work together in the new year, overcome difficulties, and achieve even greater success in our work!
We cannot review the hard work of all employees throughout the year in a short meeting time. Today, only two important topics will be selected for discussion with everyone, hoping to draw the attention of managers.
I believe everyone knows that challenges and opportunities coexist in the overall environment. Don't expect things to be easier in the future. All difficulties will dissolve with sufficient preparation, so that you won't panic when faced with difficulties and won't watch others surpass you one by one.
The first topic is product quality. The quality control department conducts inspections every day, and the key is not inspection but control. Inspection provides data for control, and control is generated by data. In 2024, 1860159 units of water pumps (not yet stored) were produced, with an average pass rate of 98.28% per production. This means that 1.72% of the 31995 units were found to be unqualified or require adjustment on the production line. By calculation, there are 11 units of unqualified products per hour.
In addition, 20537 water pumps were returned this year due to quality issues, with high noise accounting for 50% of the total return batch rate due to quality issues, and 4233/20537 accounting for 21% of the quantity. 12231 pumps could not be started for return, accounting for 60% of the total return rate. Through big data analysis, we can know what to do first and then what to do, and there are many complex tasks to be done.
Of particular note here is the 12231 units that cannot be started and returned. Although the customer also bears some responsibility, it exposes whether our technical work is rigorous? Is customer service attentive? Why is it said that customers are the emperor? Of course, it's not that monarch emperor. We strive to make our products satisfactory to customers, ultimately for the benefit of the enterprise.
The second topic is the management of technical documents. Technical documents include drawings, change notices, design task sheets, material lists, manufacturing process specifications, product quality standards, product user manuals, etc. In April of this year, our company sent a drawing to Angel Company for the product model EC-102-50. The drawing was marked in red with "SAN JIAOZHOU Group Product R&D Center" and "Controlled", without a drawing number. As a result, there was an error in the total length of the product, which was 181 ± 1. Making mistakes at work is a very normal phenomenon, but the problem is that this mistake is indeed unjustified. In fact, the drawing was retrieved from an old file, and they thought that with the new person's signature, everything was fine, but little did they know that there were no changes to the archived drawings after the product was modified. Two important issues have arisen here, one being the possibility of disrupting normal production order; The second is the intentional or unintentional influence of seeking fame and reputation. I understand that many people don't pay much attention to these things or don't know how to handle them. I used to feel a bit tricky too. In fact, the title bar can be customized by retaining the original designer's name. If there are no significant changes and the authenticity of the original design signature is uncertain, the design signature can be abandoned and replaced with a drafting signature, and other reviews and approvals can be re signed. The key is authenticity. If you sign without doing it, there must be a problem.
The above case illustrates the issue of technical document management. If we only emphasize efficiency and do not pay attention to a global perspective, many vivid facts warn us of the importance of management and cannot stay in a workshop style production mode. SAN JIAOZHOU is a nearly 200 person enterprise that produces approximately 2 million water pumps annually, with a total output value exceeding 100 million yuan. It contributes approximately 6 million yuan in taxes and fees and over 10 million yuan in employee salaries to the country annually. Our company's mission is to contribute to society and contribute to the country. So we hope to attach importance to management. If we manage well, we can achieve twice the result with half the effort in our work. Otherwise, it will cause the company to suffer a lot. Nowadays, with the development of information technology, work efficiency is obvious to all, but a slight carelessness can lead to floods and fierce beasts. I believe everyone understands this metaphor.
All colleagues in the SAN JIAOZHOU region will produce over 1.8 million water pumps and sell 1786979 units in 2024. These two numbers are very close, indicating that everyone's work plan is excellent, and the cooperation of sales, production, supply, finance, quality, and administrative departments is indispensable. In the second half of the year, the Process Technology Department was established, which enriched the technical strength of the production front line, strengthened the rapid response capability of technology, and also created a good environment for rapid growth of technical personnel. The equipment department has always been in urgent need of production, and they are contributing their intelligence and wisdom to the automation of production. Now SAN JIAOZHOU has proudly passed its 32nd year, and it is worth being proud that most employees love the factory like home, working for 20-30 years. Without their hard work, there would be no fruitful achievements in SAN JIAOZHOU today.
